On miracles of healing.
Jesus said all things are possible to him who believes.
Now, why don’t you just walk into a hospital and heal everyone if you believe?
You can’t do that unless you have the faith to do that.
Where do you get the faith to do that?
Jesus is “the author and finisher of our faith”.
So, is it as simple as asking Him to give you the faith to do that?
You could ask Him for the faith, but it’s not as simple as that.
If it were God’s purpose and plan for you to go and clear out hospitals and put them out of business then He would have communicated that to you and given you the faith to do it.
It can’t be that, overall, God didn’t give you the faith to carry out His purpose and plan for your life.
When we face a person who is suffering we desperately want to relieve their suffering.
Yet, we should realize we can’t manufacture the faith to heal them. We can’t muster it up by our own willpower. It has to come from God.
In this respect we are helpless to act on our own, and so it should be.
When we realize we are powerless within ourselves to do miracles, it’s the great compassion of the Lord in us which can cause us to believe He can heal them.

God changes our mind and the way we think about things to bring us into line with how He thinks about things, or His attitude toward things. This renewed mind conforms to God’s word and does not conform to the pressure of the world.
d. The word of God must change the way we think about EVERYTHING.

Heard a famous pastor say that the only thing keeping people out of heaven is self righteousness, when they refuse to accept they need a Savior, because they believe they are a good person. It’s true it is one thing keeping people out Heaven, yet there’s also another thing, which Jude warned about, and it is to “turn the grace of God into a license to sin”. A person can believe in the grace of God, and claim to have the righteousness of Christ, but if they don’t repent they are still lost.

We can pray about everything if we want God’s help in it.
