Assuming that there was considerable proselytization and dilution of the original Jewish population through intermarriage one of the reasons for which they were given up by God into exile and scattering one may fairly ask the question, how does one decide today, which of the Jews in Israel today are truly of the BLOOD LINE OF ABRAHAM to whom the land was promised. Secondly it is also possible that the persons we call palestines today may have been semitic converts to Mohammedanism. Thirdly from the book of Galations it could be argued that Jerusalem belongs to all true believers because all the promises given to the Abraham are made good to the believer through GOD’s SEED Jesus. There is no middle wall of partition when it comes to promises. Could be that all Believers from every tribe tongue and nation have a claim to physical Israel including the Jerusalem from above.
In my opinion it is very difficult to establish because of the conversions and proselytization and intermarriage that has taken place over 4000 years who is truly sematic and who is not in terms of blood line. Today’s arab could well have been a semite of yesterday and today’s claim to being a semite could well be a Shemmite of yesterday.
For myself I am in the wait and see mode waiting for the return of JESUS the righteous judge.
In some I believe the real truth about Israel is only known by GOD, much of the rest is half truth, with respect to who is responsible for what crime.

Thanks brother for your comment.
Regarding your question about us deciding who is truly part of natural Israel, i can’t see it is our place to try and determine that.
It’s enough that God is fulfilling His own prophecies and bringing them back from all nations where He had scattered them. Whether there are some who are not Jews but who think they are Jews? God bless them!
During the Holocaust it seems the devil knew exactly who was a natural-born Jew and who was not, and, no doubt, nothing has changed, and the demonic forces whipping the Arabs into a frenzy of hatred toward the Jews know who is a Jew and who is not.
Just one thing (out of many) that the world should have learned from the Holocaust is that such evil cannot have natural causes – it is spiritual, from demonic sources. Which spirit singles out the Jews as the targets for such extreme hatred and evil?
In this light, the question of Jerusalem, and the Land of Israel, is a spiritual one, and a spiritual conflict, before it is a political one.
.
.
.
Regarding the issue of whether there are Semites among the Arabs: Unless they repent of their hatred of the Jews they will be destroyed by God, whether they have Semitic blood or not.
Regarding whether the Gentile believers (the wild olive branch) also have a claim to physical Jerusalem : No, we do not, bcos we are of the New Covenant. The Jews are still under the Old Covenant promises UNTIL the glorious day they enter into the New Covenant, when the veil is lifted off their hearts (Rom 11:25).
Surely the Antichrist/Beast, to make peace between the Jews and Arabs, will come up with some universalist philosophy that Jerusalem belongs to the whole world and not just the natural Jews.

Here are some old FB comments of mine:
A reading of Romans, chapters 9, 10, 11 will reveal that there is a spiritual Israel (those who are in Christ) and there is a natural Israel (Israel after the flesh, Paul said). These both exist parallel to one another until the coming of the LORD. Paul explains that the Church does not replace natural Israel but is grafted into her. Paul explains OT prophecy concerning the destiny of the Jewish people (natural Jews) that they are ultimately predestined, as a nation, to come into Messiah, into the New Covenant, but only when Jesus returns. OT prophecy overwhelmingly describes how God will do this – He will bring them back into their own land, He will establish them there, then the great tribulation shall come, the Beast shall rule the world from Jerusalem, then Messiah will return to Jerusalem, Israel, physically/bodily, destroy every army which is against the Jewish people, and He will rule the earth from Jerusalem. God fulfilled His promise and He brought the Jews back into their own land and He has protected them there supernaturally. They are still in the darkness of sin, the veil is still over their hearts, so it is only natural that they will still sin, just like the nations who hate them.

And the LORD said unto Abram, after Lot was separated from him, Lift up now your eyes, and look from the place where you are northward, and southward, and eastward, and westward: For all the land which you see, to you will I give it, and to your descendants forever. Gen 13:14-15
Zech 14:12 And this shall be the plague with which the LORD will strike all the people that have fought against Jerusalem; Their flesh shall rot away while they stand upon their feet, and their eyes shall rot away in their sockets, and their tongue shall rot away in their mouths.
If God had not PROMISED that land to the Jewish people forever then no one would be interested in it.
The issue is, Did God give that land to the Jewish people forever or not? If He did, then those who are against the Jews returning to their own land are against God, and prophecy says that such will find themselves in a futile war against God Himself.
And it is solely bcos of God’s Covenant to the Jews that antisemitism ever came into existence, and why Islam was created, for it is the expression of satan’s hatred for God. This is why Jerusalem MUST be a burdensome stone for all nations, and those who trouble her will be cut in pieces by God. Zech 12:3

There are many Palestinian and Arab Christians who totally support the right of the Jewish people to the Land of Israel. On the issue over whether the Israel referred to in the OT is the modern secular state of Israel: Let’s settle the fact first that God calls that land the Land of Israel (search Land of Israel in your word search). Did He ever stop calling it the Land of Israel, even when He sent them into exile? Didn’t He give that land to the Jewish people forever? Yes, you know He did. OK, so that’s established.
Now, obviously, a democratically elected political party does not equate with “the Israel of the OT” : Mr Netanyahu’s government is NOT the government of God, Bibi is not the King of Israel, it’s not a Theocracy, and it does not equal the government God set up in the OT.
But natural Israel (Rom 9-11) is a PEOPLE, it’s not a political party. So, God says He will bring the PEOPLE back into their own land and establish them there, so, how can they exist without a secular government? The present government in Israel is simply a bare necessity, and does not represent God to the world. Yet God will use that government to bring order to the Jewish Nation so they can function and defend themselves. Whether or not the Government of Israel acts justly or not, that is irrelevant to the fact that the God gave that land to the Jews……………..
And, when or whenever Christians became interested in Zionism, or any issue arising over justice, is irrelevant to the fact that God gave that land to the Jewish people. God promised to bring the Jews back into Israel in the last days, and that’s why they were in exile for 2000 years, and did not return before. God brought them back just as He said He would………
If, when Jesus walked the earth, you had come up to Him and told Him that the Land of Israel does not belong to the Jews, and has not been given to them forever, what would He have said to you? He would say to you that you have been deceived. He is alive, and He says the same thing to you now.

Please answer these with Yes or No:
1) Is there a natural Israel (after the flesh) and a spiritual Israel?
2) Did God give the Land of Israel to natural Israel forever?
3) Do the Jews have a God-given right to live in that land?
4) Is there a promise in scripture that the Jews will return to their own land in the last days?
5) Is there a promise in scripture that God has destined to bring the Jewish people into the New Covenant?
6) Is Jesus bodily returning to Jerusalem?
7) Will all the world fight against Jerusalem?
8) When Jesus returns will He destroy those who fight against Jerusalem?

1Peter 1:4 To an inheritance incorruptible, and undefiled, and that fades not away, reserved in heaven for you,
And they sang a new song, saying, You are worthy to take the scroll, and to open the seals thereof: for you were slain, and have redeemed us to God by your blood out of every tribe, and tongue, and people, and nation; And have made us unto our God a kingdom and priests: and we shall reign ON THE EARTH.
(Rev 5:9-10)
So, these are presently in heaven and they will be soon back reigning on the earth.
THE 1000 YEAR REIGN OF CHRIST ON THE EARTH:
And I saw thrones, and they sat upon them, and judgment was given unto them: and I saw the souls of them that were beheaded for the witness of Jesus, and for the word of God, and who had not worshiped the beast, neither his image, neither had received his mark upon their foreheads, or in their hands; and they lived and reigned with Christ a thousand years. But the rest of the dead lived not again until the thousand years were finished. This is the first resurrection. Blessed and holy is he that has part in the first resurrection: on such the second death has no power, but they shall be priests of God and of Christ, and shall reign with him a thousand years.
(Rev 20:4-6)

.
Christ will bodily return to Jerusalem, He will judge His enemies who are trying to destroy the Jewish people, and those who are His will rule and reign WITH HIM ON THE EARTH for a thousand years, and after that there will be a new heaven and earth, and the New Jerusalem will descend down to the new earth (Rev 21:2).
And Enoch also, the seventh from Adam, prophesied of these, saying, Behold, the Lord comes with ten thousands of his saints, To execute judgment upon all, and to convict all that are ungodly among them of all their ungodly deeds which they have ungodly committed, and of all their hard speeches which ungodly sinners have spoken against him.
(Jude 1:14-15)
Jesus is coming with all His saints down to the earth.
1Thess 4:14 For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so them also who sleep in Jesus will God bring with him.

“Then shall the LORD go forth, and fight against those nations, as when he fought in the day of battle. And his feet shall stand in that day upon the mount of Olives, which is before Jerusalem on the east, and the mount of Olives shall split in two, toward the east and toward the west, and there shall be a very great valley; and half of the mountain shall move toward the north, and half of it toward the south”.
(Zech 14:3-4)
And it shall come to pass, that everyone that is left of all the nations which came against Jerusalem shall even go up from year to year to worship the King, the LORD of hosts, and to keep the feast of tabernacles. And it shall be, that whosoever will not come up of all the families of the earth unto Jerusalem to worship the King, the LORD of hosts, even upon them shall be no rain.

On the present status of the Jewish people:
Please read the whole chapter 11 of Romans:
Rom 11:15 For if the casting away of them be the reconciling of the world, what shall the receiving of them be, but life from the dead?
Rom 11:25 For I would not, brethren, that you should be ignorant of this mystery, lest you should be wise in your own conceits; that blindness in part is happened to Israel, until the fullness of the Gentiles comes in.
Natural Israel (after the flesh, the physical descendents of Abraham) will continue to be blinded by God to the Gospel UNTIL the fullness of the Gentiles comes in – only after the full number of pre-destined Gentiles come into Christ.
CONCERNING JEWISH HOSTILITY TO CHRISTIANS:
Rom 11:28 As concerning the gospel, they are enemies for your sakes: but concerning the election, they are beloved for the fathers’ sakes.
The Jews persecuted Paul, their kinsman, very badly, yet Paul prayed for their salvation and prophesied here concerning their destiny.
CONCERNING THE OLIVE TREE:
For if the firstfruit are holy, the lump is also holy: and if the root is holy, so are the branches. And if some of the branches were broken off, and you, being a wild olive tree, were grafted in among them, and with them partake of the root and fatness of the olive tree; Boast not against the branches. But if you boast, you bear not the root, but the root you.
(Romans 11:16-18)
Christ Himself is the OLIVE TREE. He identifies Himself FIRSTLY with the Jewish people, as He is the King of the Jews. He is returning to Jerusalem and not to Rome or New York. (yes, the real estate matters to God)
Therefore the Scriptures say that when Christ bodily returns to Jerusalem then the Jewish people will believe in Him, they will come into Christ, the Olive Tree, and we, all the gentile believers, join them together as “one new man” in Christ, and from that day on there will no longer be a natural Israel and spiritual Israel, but only one Israel, which is both natural/physical and spiritual.
The Scriptures say that we the Gentiles, who are already spiritual Israel, the Israel of God, will be grafted into natural Israel, and, yes, you guessed it, we will be in Jerusalem with our King, the King of the Jews, and rule and reign with Him together with our Jewish brothers and sisters.
Rom 11:1 I say then, Has God cast away his people? God forbid. For I also am an Israelite, of the descendants of Abraham, of the tribe of Benjamin.
So, replacement theology is a false doctrine, and antisemitic in nature, and it has an important part in the Antichrist’s Manifesto.
It is part of the final delusion spreading thru Christendom preparing them to accept the unifying of all religions under the Antichrist.

The issue is whether you support God. God gave that land to the Jewish people. The issue, therefore, is not with the Jewish people, but with God, whether you agree with His decision to give the land to the Jews.

To support the “Palestinian Authority” is equal to supporting Islam, and everything Islam stands for : that is, the complete annihilation of all Jews and Christians, for this is mandated in the Koran.
.
.
.
.
There is no secular element in “Palestinian” politics. Every party and every militant group claims to be Islamic in their identity, nature and cause: that is, they believe they are the expression, representatives, and instruments of Islam, and they all believe the Koran, which states that Jews and Christians are infidel who have no right to live……….
