Receive the love of the truth

Unless a person receives the love of the truth of God’s Word (2 Thess. 2:10) then demons will be able to teach them and they will think it is the Holy Spirit – there is no absolute to test which spirit they are heeding.

This is why when people cast any shadow of doubt on the authority of Scripture, or have a casual attitude toward Scripture, then you know they have been listening to demons more than God.
