Strengthening

But you, beloved, building yourselves up on your most holy faith, praying in the Holy Spirit, keep yourselves in the love of God, looking for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ unto eternal life.

Jude 20-21

Praying in the Holy Spirit (either in a known or unknown language) builds us up on our most holy faith.

But some activities have the opposite effect upon our faith.

A strengthening of our faith is a fruit of true prayer.

Not all prayer people pray is by the Holy Spirit, and the indicator is whether our faith was strengthened.

We should pray in faith, and, in turn, our faith is strengthened even more.

It’s wise if we avoid things which don’t strengthen our faith.
